My Favorite Tools for Simple, Sustainable Marketing

Because running a business while raising kids calls for a little extra support.

When it comes to marketing my business (and helping my clients do the same), I’m not here for overly complicated systems or tools that add more to my mental load. I’m solid in my craft, I know my expertise is helpful to others, so there’s nothing to prove.

I’m all about: Simple. Repeatable. Sustainable.

These are the three tools I reach for almost daily — not because they’re trendy or fancy — but because they genuinely help me do the work in a way that feels doable within my real life.

Let’s break them down.

Asana

My Digital Brain & Project Organizer

Asana is the behind-the-scenes tool that keeps my business running — especially when I only have small pockets of time to work.

As a mom of little kids, I’m often fitting work into 15-minute windows during naps or after bedtime. So I’ve set up Asana to work with my life — not against it.

Here’s how I use it:

→ I schedule my daily tasks in bite-sized chunks (so I can actually check them off!)
→ I have a running brain dump list for ideas and content inspiration
→ My project pipeline lives here — everything I want to work on soon, but not this week
→ I store client logins, project notes, and anything else I need quick access to

For me, Asana isn’t just a project management tool — it’s a mental decluttering tool.

Google Drive

My Client Collaboration Hub

While Asana is more for me and my internal organization, Google Drive is where I stay connected and in sync with clients.

Every client and project has its own folder — super simple, super clear.

Here’s what lives in Google Drive:

→ Content and images clients upload for their website or marketing projects
→ Final deliverables I send their way (design files, strategy guides, content calendars)
→ My own creative space for writing blog posts, mapping out content ideas, and dreaming up what’s next in my business

This tool keeps everything neat and easy to find — so we’re not digging through email threads trying to track down that one logo file from three months ago.

ChatGPT

My Extra Brain & Drafting Buddy

My bestie in business is my well trained AI tool, ChatGPT.

But I don’t use it to replace my voice or do the work for me. I use it as a partner to organize my thoughts, spark ideas, and help me get words onto the page faster.

Here’s how I like to use it:

→ Brainstorming content ideas for myself or clients
→ Drafting rough outlines for blog posts, emails, or social media captions
→ Asking for feedback or tweaks when I feel stuck
→ Planning meals and creating cleaning schedules for home

Once I have a rough draft from ChatGPT, I always bring it over to Google Docs to add my voice (or my client’s voice), polish it up, and make it feel true to me or my client.

It’s a tool — not the final product. But wow, does it help me move faster when my brain feels like mush after a full day of mom life.

Let’s Recap:

Marketing your business doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

The right tools can support you — not because they’re complicated, but because they’re designed to make your life simpler.

That’s what these three tools do for me:

→ Asana for organizing my projects and brain space
→ Google Drive for keeping client work tidy and easy to access
→ ChatGPT for helping me write and create without the overwhelm

If you’ve been craving more ease and flow in your marketing — I hope this gave you a little inspiration to set up systems that work for you.

Your version of sustainable marketing might look different — and that’s exactly how it should be.
